Choices for Sustainable Living Course – Begins 8/14/08

One of the best-loved courses offered through Northwest Earth Institute will begin a eight-week group starting soon!

Choices for Sustainable Living explores the meaning of sustainable living and the ties between lifestyle choices and their impact on the earth. Discussion course goals include: considering the ties between lifestyle choices and their impact on the earth, and learning about steps that can be taken to move toward ecologically sustainable organizations, lifestyles, and communities.

Voluntary Simplicity Course (3/25-5/13)

Course description: Participants in this seven-session course developed by the Northwest Earth Institute seek to understand the meaning of voluntary simplicity, to explore the material and psychological distractions that prevent us from caring for the earth, and to consider how life may be richer through the practice of simplicity.

Date/Time: March 25th – May 13th. Tuesdays from 7:00 – 8:30 PM. Brown bag/take-out (bring your own) shared meal from 6:30 – 7:00 PM.

Location: Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1700 South Josey Lane, Carrollton.
