Our annual, city-wide Trinity River cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 9 AM to noon. This year we are expanding by adding some new partners and starting at three different parks. We will be staging from Rochester Park (3000 Rochester), Moore Park (2312 Winnetka), and Trammel Crow Park (3700 Sylvan).
Volunteers should register between 8 AM and 9 AM. Cleanup opportunities will be along the river starting at Crow Park, and areas along the old Trinity Strand Trail. Maps will be provided at volunteer registration. Water, snacks, trash bags, T-shirts and pick-up sticks will be provided, and a hot dog lunch will be served at Crow Park at 12:30 PM. Don’t forget your gloves and rugged footwear.
